The HOA Board recently agreed to pay John Wayne Construction to do an analysis of the exterior siding, fascia, stucco, trim and painting on all units and also each storage unit. The estimate will be only one of a few different companies the board will request bids from.
The estimate from JWC is being used as a baseline to compare all beids solicited by the board.
The board of course will be looking for the company that can do the best job at the most cost effective price.
As mentioned before, these repairs are major and will require a Special Assessment to homeowners. The Special Assessment will require a vote of the homeowners.
